Martha Kauppi, MS MFT
Martha specializes in sexual issues and sexuality, creativity, health concerns, alternative family structures, "alt sex," and LGBTQAI-related concerns. She also has experience working with family dynamics, parenting issues, spiritual issues, and life transitions.
Martha has made a lifelong career of working with individuals and families in transition about issues of health and wellness and sexuality. Her background includes years of providing obstetric and gynecology care and health counseling as a midwife. She also worked for A Woman's Touch Sexuality Resource Center, where she offered sexual health education and counseling, spoke publicly on a variety of topics related to sexuality, and taught counselors and health care providers how to help clients with sexual issues. Between working as a health care professional and getting her Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Martha worked as an artist specializing in blown and kilnformed glass. During that time she also trained to be a Creativity Coach, and she now enjoys helping artists, writers, and inventors navigate the complexity of living a creative life.
Martha’s therapy practice is knowlegeable and friendly towards all LGBTQAI communities, alternative sexualities, and alternative family structures.
